This batch comes from Muraho Trading Company's Cyesha Coffee Washing Station in Nyamasheke, Rwanda. Founded by two brothers, Karthick and Gaudam Anbalagan, Muraho prides itself on showcasing high-quality specialty coffee from the region.
The volcanic soil and high altitude of the farm, up to 1800 meters above sea level, contribute to the exceptional flavor of their coffee. The washing station, located near Lake Kivu, benefits from the ideal wind flow for drying the coffee. Cyesha has strict standards, only accepting red ripe cherries and subjecting them to a rigorous sorting and processing process.
Muraho Trading Company continues to lead in innovation, being the first to produce natural and honey coffees in Rwanda in 2016. They are now exploring new processing methods at Cyesha, including honeys, anaerobic fully washed, and anaerobic naturals.
