The Idido Cooperative is a community of smallholders (farmers with less than 50 acres) growing in a small valley near the town of Yirgacheffe. The unique geography of the region provides high altitudes and rich volcanic soil. These factors make for a coffee that is remarkably sweet, with complex acidity.
This Ethiopian Heirloom varietal is grown at an elevation of 2070 MASL. It is fully washed and dried on raised beds. Harvest begins in December and ends in February.
